I visited this restaurant late on a Saturday, around 11am, so it wasn't very crowded. We were seated right away without having to wait and were promptly told to sit anywhere we liked. The wait staff was friendly and quick, but the kitchen was a bit slow. Our breakfast took longer than anticipated, but the staff kept our coffee mugs full. What Drew I dislikes about Derry Diner:
Clearly posted on the wall that cash gets a 3.5 percent discount incentive. But got no discount off menu pricing, other establishments advertising clearly acknowledged a percentage added for using a credit card. Deceptive to say the least View all feedback.
Perhaps another day will bring better luck. I sat at the counter and unfortunately received very poor service from my waitress. While other diners were greeted warmly and engaged in small talk, I was barely acknowledged and had limited opportunity to place my order in a nearly empty restaurant. The food was average, with my meal of eggs, bacon and potatoes not standing out as either terrible or exceptional. You can find similar food with better service elsewhere.
It had been several years since we last dined at this restaurant. For some reason, we had never considered coming back. The breakfast menu is relatively small, but the prices are reasonable and the food is very good. The service was also excellent. I would not hesitate to return.
The dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The service was exceptional, the location was excellent, and everything was done flawlessly. Rick and his staff make you feel right at home, even if you're dining alone.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is always fantastic. Both the staff and customers are extremely friendly. The waitresses are attentive, constantly ensuring that your cup is filled and that everything is to your satisfaction.
Perfect spot for brunch and the center of Derry. Great food great service. Everything you could ask for from a breakfast /Brunch spot
