Not worth sharing the full experience but to summarize, 2 hours spent there with reservations, full order put in all at once (salad, chowder, chicken, salmon, w... read more Not worth sharing the full experience but to summarize, 2 hours spent there with reservations, full order put in all at once (salad, chowder, chicken, salmon, water for beverages), 1+ hour wait after appetizers, part of my meal was frozen solid, after making the server aware no money was taken off the bill and we couldn’t stay any longer for the free dessert offered (dessert was not packed up to go and we were sitting with 3 other tables in the only dining area —rest of the patrons were at the bar which was not full). Mentioned all this on a Facebook restaurant review group page the chef of the establishment happens to be a member of and he insulted my husband (called him a Karen), lied about serving frozen food and then posted a photo of the tip we left (reflective of the slow service) on my actual receipt on the Facebook page trying to shame us. Just…wow. I wasn’t going to leave this review because the owners tried to smooth it over a little on the FB thread but still…I’d hate for someone to come here thinking that it’s always a great experience or there’s adequate acknowledgment when it isn’t. But that’s just not the case. The staff “customer service” and response speaks volumes. There’s too many other tried and true choices around to spend money here.
