The Lime Lounge - Derbyshire Dales

Me and my 2 sons usually come to lime lounge around once a month because we are locals in the village however never again. We arrived and must have been stood at the door waiting to be seated around 10 minutes so we sat our selves down. A older waitress with glasses and a leopard print fleece came over from the counter with a death stare and screamed at me and my family saying “your not welcome in here, can’t you see we’re full.” Then stormed off back to the coffee counter.” Another young waitress who was making coffees giggled from behind the coffee machine as me and my sons left quickly in shock. Will never return or recommend to anyone. I would have complained but there didn’t seem to be a manager present unless that was the manager who spoke to us in that horrible manner.

Had the vegetarian oatcake breakfast and it didn't disappoint!Included veg bacon which you never hardly see anywhere,was lovely,cant wait to go again.

Popped in for lunch and had paninis . Both very good (Brie and cranberry tuna melt) and all served by friendly staff. All quite busy which is a good sign. Would defo recommend.

The coffee here is obviously made by poorly trained barista staff as the milk comes out boiled and not warm. they offer “small” and “large” coffees both double shots just in a smaller deceiving cup very poor and couldn’t finish my mocha

Superb breakfast with quality ingredients. Friendly staff. Good price for Bakewell. This is not a 'greasy spoon '!
