I enjoyed lunch, dinner, and breakfast at this wonderful pub, and the food was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooms were warm and cozy—plus, it’s dog-friendly! I highly recommend it. This charming old country pub is full of character, complete with the delightful quirks of an older building, including a few unusual squeaks. This place has definitely declined since the "new" couple took over. I can't believe they were able to acquire a pub after fleeing with the profits from the Cutler, which they also ran into the ground. None of them seem to know how to cook, and the hygiene rating should be zero because their last kitchen was filthy! They both just drink all day. The only reason why this inn was not received 5 stars is pure that it needs a small titivation on places. everything else was brilliant eating excellent with massive portions; truly welcoming and friendly bar staff; beautiful old fashion bar with great music; beautiful view; perfect location for walks and dog friendly. we will definitely visit again!
Nice room with a lovely view. Slightly cold, could not figure out how to turn the heating up. Should have asked, but did not, so my own fault. Room adjacent to pub with great food and lovely people, fire place and great atmosphere.
Very comfortable room excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff, particularly Pauline, who made our stay most pleasant. Well situated for touring area. WiFi availability was only weakness, but not enough of a problem to worry!

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Samantha, Richard, and the entire team for their wonderful hospitality during my husband's 60th birthday celebration at the end of January. They provided a highly professional service from beginning to end, and the catering was outstanding. They went above and beyond to ensure the evening was enjoyable, effectively managing the needs of our large group of family and friends. It's fantastic to see Ye Olde Bowling Green thriving as a vibrant village pub once again.
