We had a wonderful Sunday dinner in the cavendish hotel. the venue is beautiful with crisp white tablecloths. a real estate. the waiters and reception staff were friendly, welcoming and fantastic! they have a Prix-Fix menu on a Sunday for approx. £45 per person for 3 courses. there are good variety for all dishes and there is probably something for everyone. we had the prawn cocktail star who was beautiful and fresh (when also a dish from the 70s the spiced carrot soup was also beautiful and smooth. the brot served with both was light and fluffy! for the net we had ochsenwange, the fish of the day and the sirloinsonntagsbraten. all these were delicious and the beside vegetables were also delicious. the sticky toffee pudding is an absolute tasty! They bring them the toffee sauce on the side so that they want as much or little as they want. the sponge itself was soft and tasty, add it to the sauce and ice cream and its real joy! the service, the venue and the food are wonderful and well served for a special! I thought it would be good for the standard. I understand in summer there is also a beautiful terrace with views of the beautiful rolling hills and sheep. I would certainly recommend this restaurant and I hope to return soon!

We were last week in cavendish on our slumber week. the hotel and the room, the grounds and the location were absolutely beautiful. the staff could not have been more friendly, friendly and attentive. eating was really great. we would recommend the afternoon. also the “Chefs Table” gives them the opportunity to dine in the kitchen with the chefs who were fantastic. we could not find faulty with the place and would return definitiw. well made to all im cavendish and thanks for our wonderful stay. eira and james hill.

A brilliant well stocked sweet shop that also sells the excellent Bradwells Derbyshire ice cream. Lovely to see the lady that runs the place dressed in a full England kit including white shorts today in readiness for tonight’s European game in Rome, a really great spirit.
