My family and I shopped in the cold and rain today and needed a quick meal. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not offer any vegan options. If you are vegan (like many people are these days), I recommend bringing your own food or finding another place to eat after shopping here. There is another restaurant nearby, but it is quite expensive.

After a wonderful day of shopping, we decided to relax with a drink and enjoy the view at lunchtime on August 21st. We had just enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Cavendish Hotel in Baslow, where we stayed for our anniversary. The lady at the drinks and ice cream counter was lovely and very professional, serving us a small bottle of beer and a small bottle of perfectly chilled Pinot Grigio with the correct glasses, as well as a side of ice. The food that was served inside and outside looked plentiful and delicious, and it was delivered promptly. We were pleased to see that only guide and assistant dogs were allowed in the restaurant. We will definitely be returning soon. - Anne and Alan

We stopped by for a relaxing cup of tea after a walk. The tea was nicely served on a tray from the counter. The tables were all very clean and the toilets were sparkling. The staff were friendly and well presented. The food looked delicious. We also received a receipt that entitled us to a discounted coffee later in the day. Overall, we would recommend this place.

Such a disappointing meal. £24 for an afternoon tea for two and the food was so tasteless, especially the scones. Never tasted anything so plain

Really good value food. We both had a panini, served with side salad. No skimping on the fillings either and really nice coffee too. Thank you, we will be back. Waitresses worked especially hard as the place was really busy although it was only about 11.30.
