Me and my fiance holidayed in the Peak Distric in the first week of November. We spent the morning visiting Bakewell and decided to pop in for a roast dinner. we were disappointed with our breakfast. everything tasted cheap and bland. pity that the staff was friendly and the location is great. If that was a better quality, it would make a big difference in my opinion. View all feedback.
We had an amazing roast at this restaurant today. It is recommended to make a reservation. Our group consisted of a gluten-free vegetarian and two meat eaters, and we were all well taken care of. Martin and his team went above and beyond to accommodate our gluten-free member with a great attitude. The restaurant was busy, but we were not bothered at all, even enjoying some nice conversation. Even the person clearing tables was friendly and had a smile for everyone. And that gluten-free banoffee pie? Absolutely delicious.
We visited Bakewell and decided to try The Farmers for Sunday dinner. We were not disappointed. The staff were very helpful with parking information and very pleasant. The meal was good, we had 2 OAP meals and 2 teas for £19.00. We would definitely visit again and recommend it to others. The restaurant is conveniently located for a short walk in the heart of Bakewell.
We live about 10 miles away from The Farmer's Firm, but we make it a point to visit for breakfast or Sunday dinner as the meals are consistently delicious. Located at the Bakewell farmer's market grounds, this restaurant has been catering to the weekly meetings of farmers for many years. While it may not have a fancy ambiance, the dining area is always clean and well-maintained with a picturesque view of the surrounding landscape. The food is always of high quality, whether it's the Sunday roasts or honeycomb breakfast. Using ingredients sourced from local farmers and butchers, the dishes are freshly prepared to perfection. My son, who frequently travels for work, always stops by for breakfast whenever he's in the area because it's that good. You won't find a better value for the quality of the breakfast or Sunday roast offered at The Farmer's Firm.
