My partner and I are big fans of Spanish cuisine and we often visit Spain. This was our first time dining at Lorentes. We ordered sangria, Iberian ham and cheese board, and paella. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to see that we were served crackers instead of fresh bread and olive oil. In every Spanish restaurant we've been to, guests start with bread and olive oil. We had an amazing date at this restaurant today and the food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor! It truly is the best place for food in Derby. I highly recommend the patatas bravas and meatballs to everyone. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Overall, I give the food, service, and atmosphere a 5-star rating. One dish I highly recommend trying is the patatas bravas.
Ate here yesterday on a quick visit to Derby and I was not disappointed. All the tapas dishes I tried were amazing, especially the gambas.
