During our brief stay in Denver, we ate here four days in a row, and we were never disappointed. We make it a point to visit great Chinese restaurants in every major city that we visit and we have to say that Star Kitchen has been the best experience. Their dimsum, crispy flounder, roasted duck, special seafood soup and the gailan in garlic sauce were so delicious. Not to mention the special steamed bun egg dessert t... View all feedback.
Loves this dimm-sum restaurant in denver. I have been here many times in the last 5 years and they have some of the best dimming sums in the opposite. everything is always delicious! the restaurant is always alive with cravings full of fabulous spits that run around regularly. the restaurant could be a bit cleaner, but service is always good and efficient. I love her tee too. the waiting times can be super long, so I highly recommend checking on their website when they go at the weekend. Check-in opens at 9:55 clock and they open at 10 o'clock. if they are in the line before they open, they probably get a table without checking, but if they come a little later, it could be the only way to get a table. the prices are fair. Normally we go in a group of 4 and the bill ranges from $50-80 overall. parking can sometimes be hard to find so they go early as this fills up quickly.
So happy to find here in colorado a legit and authentic dimmable spot! faster service when they sit, tons of options for dim-sum dishes and other dishes. that can wait long to make sure they check in online before they go. can not wait to come back to lunch / dinner and try them all their other options.
Star kitchen is probably one of the better places to get dimm sum to the denver area. they have all the classic dumb-summe dishes they want and everything is great! my personal favorites are the football (fritten glutinous reis knödel), garnelen knödel, xiao long baos, and the ei tarts. service here is very fast and they will be immediately tea and well served by the trolleys as soon as they sit. this type of meal is best with a group of people, so they get many different dishes and share them among themselves. also this place is extremely busy, so it is best to either get there too soon or put their names on the online alert list so they do not wait outside for a long time to get one. but overall, really solid food!
Crazy fast serving speed, we waited 5 mins on line but got all foods on less than 1 min. Authentic dim sum
Wow. Yes, please. This is the place to go for real Chinese food. There is a long line on Saturday mornings for dim sum, and the restaurant tables are all occupied within the first 3-6 minutes of opening.Food is great. People push around carts with steamed items, baked goods, and many other items. Most of the cart-pushers are very friendly. The prices seemed to double since 2 years earlier as we used to pay about $20-$25 per person, and the last time was $42 per person.I've taken many people to this restaurant, and all of them want to come back, even from as far as Greeley and Castle Rock.
