It's a cozy little spot that delivers everything you'd hope for: truly delicious food. Seriously, you'll leave feeling happy because you've enjoyed such excellent dishes.
I discovered this sandwich shop through Google Maps while working nearby. It's actually run out of the Spices Catering kitchen. There are only a few sandwich options, but I tried the al pastor and it was both delicious and a generous portion. The spicy fries complemented my meal nicely. At $16.00, the price felt a bit high, but the sandwiches are superbly crafted.
I just had an amazing experience here. We sampled a couple of appetizers and 4 sandwiches, and it was all perfection. Light and flavorful, served with a smile by the chef/owner who was delightful. Small and unassuming, this is EXACTLY the type of place I'm always looking to find. We'll be back soon!!
I had an absolutely amazing experience with the catering service from Toque Blanche, the catering division of Spices. Michael, our main contact, was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and dependable. We organized a cocktail party for 40 people at our home, and he provided invaluable guidance on how to tailor the event. He offered suggestions on the best food options and stations that would suit our space, and helped us create a menu that appealed to a wide variety of tastes and dietary restrictions. Michael handled everything, from setup to cleanup, including coordinating a full-service bar. We received countless compliments on the food and drinks; everything was not only delicious but also beautifully presented!
Deli style local spot with limited seating inside and a decent sized, enclosed, covered patio. The decor was busy and a little disheveled, but clean. I think they have a lot going on there as I believe they do a lot of catering business as well.Crispy yet tender pork cutlets, fresh diced veggies and flovorful seasonings did not disappoint with the pastor torta/porchetta. Fries were on par with McDonalds fries, but fresh, meaning they're exceptional. I went with the plain salted fries but will try the seasoned ones next time. This was an amazing sandwich at a great price. I did the meal with fries and a bottle of Mexican Coke.Although I scanned the table tent for the menu and it tells you to order, and pay through your phone (no app needed), I just gave my order to AJ (owner) and paid cash. It was slow so Im not sure if that's always an option but AJ was a gracious and kind host so I'm sure if you ask nicely, it's nbd.
