Great little place for some up-scale Italian food. We have our go-to menu items. I really like the Pork Marsala with the creamiest mash potatoes I've ever had. My wife always gets the Salmon Farfala. And I hope they bring back the specialty crab cake appetizer again it was awesome the last time we had it!
I enjoyed a lovely, straightforward dinner here last weekend. The decor is simple yet attractive. The service was outstanding, but the highlight was definitely the food, which was exceptionally well-prepared and flavorful. We ordered the caprese (small but delicious), the lasagna (absolutely amazing), and a salmon bowl. We'll definitely be returning frequently. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I had another fantastic experience at Mattiello. The family’s regional Italian cuisine never fails to impress. It’s truly a gem in Denver that offers an authentic taste of Italy. For the main course, I had a peppercorn steak, served with thin slices and an incredible peppercorn sauce. It was delicious!
We had our first experience at Mattiello, and the food was amazing! We ordered the roasted chicken breast, squid ink pasta, and sausage and onion pizza. Each dish was distinct, and the flavors were truly authentic. The chef doesn’t rely on excessive cheese and salt; you can really appreciate the taste of each ingredient here. The sauce on the roasted chicken was delightful, and the mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy. The pizza had a thin and crispy crust, and the squid ink pasta was both beautiful and delicious! Until recently, it was difficult to find good Italian cuisine in this area, so we are thrilled that Mattiello is here now. We’ll definitely be back!
We visited the evening of 3/7 and I wasn’t really sure what to expect based on the reviews. Our dinner was amazing! I had the carbonara, my husband had the lasagna (Sicilian so don’t expect meaty sauce) and our friend got the ragu. They make some of the pasta in house and you can really taste it. We enjoyed a bottle of wine as well and really enjoyed the dinner. The chef came out and introduced himself, his son and daughter were our wait staff so it’s a family business which I hope can be successful. I honestly have no complaints and will definitely be back. I’ll be posting this review on their other google site. For some reason they have more than one google page.
