Nestled in a charming locale, this café offers a cozy atmosphere ideal for brunch or casual lunches. Diners appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, with many highlighting the enjoyable crepes and coffee. While some reviews indicate that certain vegan options fell short, with requests for improved flavors and accompaniments, the owner shows a willingness to enhance the menu. The ambiance is celebrated for its warmth, and many return for the memorable service—especially during busy moments. Overall, this spot promises a delightful experience, though improvements in vegan offerings could elevate it even further.
The menu clearly indicates the vegan options. I ordered the Garden crepe and beet salad, and I plan to try the Legumes crepe next time.
I am a bit perplexed by the negative reviews. The service at this restaurant was excellent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The crepes were also delicious and not dry at all. While I usually prefer all-vegan establishments or those with more vegan options, I truly enjoyed the two crepe choices available here. I will definitely be returning to this place.
Unfortunately, the restaurant does not prioritize providing great service for customers with vegan or gluten-free dietary needs. They also do not offer Dulce de Leche as a dessert, and their menu lacks options for a delicious Dulce de Leche crepe. The service is disappointing and unfriendly. I recommend going to Breckinridge Crepes instead, as their crepes are much better. Avoid this place!
I ordered an almond milk latte, but they were out and although the owner offered to run to the store to get some I said I would do soy milk instead. The crepe légume I tried was vegan by default, but it was almost inedible. Very few vegetables inside and there was no sauce, so it was extremely dry and bland. Some vegan butter or pesto or something would really help. I also wish they had a fruit crepe with vegan butter and agave. I talked to the owner and he was actually really interested in how to improve the vegan offerings so hopefully we will see some more choices!
I have returned to this restaurant multiple times since my previous review, and each time my food has been served hot and perfectly cooked. I am now giving it a 5-star rating. I particularly enjoy the peaceful and charming ambiance on weekday mornings. While I initially enjoyed my experience at this restaurant, my most recent visit was disappointing as my food was served cold. I had requested my eggs to be cooked over medium, but they came out over easy. Despite the temperature issue, the flavor of the food was still good. In the future, I will probably stick to ordering the sandwich to avoid any temperature-related issues.
