**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Nestled in a cozy spot, this restaurant offers a charming atmosphere but comes with a range of dining experiences. While some dishes, like the chicken sandwiches and unique appetizers, earn rave reviews for their flavor and freshness, others receive criticism for being overly salty or bland. Service is generally attentive, yet some patrons report a pretentious attitude from the staff. With quick food service and generous portions, it can satisfy cravings, but with many excellent dining options in the area, expectations should be managed. Ultimately, it’s a hit or miss that may leave you wanting more.

The atmosphere feels more like a country gas station than a restaurant, and the staff come off as pretentious and rude. We were served after people who arrived later than us. Charging $10 for drinks? Seriously, this isn't Vegas or New York City. The food was just mediocre—neither good nor great, barely acceptable. The professional reviewers seem to be completely off the mark. I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner knows when they’re visiting. Save your money and head over to South Federal for a much better experience. I couldn't wait to leave once the meal was over.

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic, especially when Chef B is behind the counter. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the food. The menu is small yet frequently updated, keeping things interesting. The pork steamed buns are absolutely delicious! And definitely don't miss out on adding a poached egg to your ramen—it's pure bliss!

Absolutely fantastic! This spot not only serves one of the best chicken sandwiches in Denver, but it's also incredibly quick! I've never waited more than a couple of minutes for my food during two visits. I grabbed an adult Capri Sun from the cooler—definitely check those out! I’m looking forward to trying the spicy watermelon margarita next time, but the ginger apple bourbon one was absolutely delicious. I really love this place!
I searched for "small restaurants near Cap Hill" and this one came up as one of the top results. Since I was dining with a child, the chicken tenders on the menu caught my eye. The food was even better than I anticipated. The fried chicken sandwiches were bursting with creative flavors. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and Brussels sprouts, and I was not disappointed at all. The service was excellent, and I was pleasantly surprised by the ice cream selection! While a gratuity is automatically added, it’s capped at 15%, but you can always add more, which I gladly did.
Cool place! Great food! The fried chicken is plump, juicy, not greasy and not too salty. Mac and cheese is great. It is not salty or over spiced, just plain good. Brussel sprouts are fabulous as is the slaw. The banana pudding is wonderful and the vanilla wafers crisp. Fresh and it 's not too sweet. Grant Street is closed so if you 're driving you have to circle around the block. I squeezed by a 'road closed ' sign on E 7th. Sign says you have to be vaxxed but I wasn 't questioned. I wore a mask the whole time. My food was 'togo. ' Verizon 5G here. My food took a while to be prepared. Two guys behind counter and two customers already served at a table. I still gave it five stars but it may look like 4 1/2. I 'll be back.
The staff are an absolute joy every time I'm in; they seem like they're having a good time. The food is DIVINE. I don't even like buffalo or blue cheese, and the buffalo fried cauliflower bites are delicious. The chicken is always perfect and the brussels are a unique side. Thank you guys for being safe, polite, upbeat and wonderful.
Inside, the dining area is compact with limited seating, featuring a few booths and tables. Upon entering, the staff greeted us at the counter, and after a brief wait, we placed our orders. We settled into a clean booth that felt fresh rather than greasy. Our food arrived within 10 minutes, and it was quite enjoyable. We started with the Caesar salad, which was excellent—fresh greens and croutons complemented by a zesty dressing. My friend ordered the hot spicy chicken sandwich, while I opted for medium chicken tenders with waffle fries. The chicken is available in three heat levels, and the medium had a nice kick. My friend's hot sandwich packed quite a punch without being over-seasoned. The waffle fries were a bit on the salty side for my taste, but they still had great flavor. Overall, the meal was delicious, and the service was commendable. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The only downside was the limited drink selection. If you're in the area, this restaurant could definitely satisfy your fried chicken cravings.

We dined here last night and found the atmosphere to be charming and cozy. The interior is quite intimate, but they also offer lovely outdoor seating that’s perfect for...
Bones has been one of my favorites for quite some time, particularly because of the lobster races. I love sitting at the bar and watching the action in the kitchen. We used to...
Just okay. Service was fine. While ingredients were high quality, execution left something to be desired. Poke bowl and brisket dumplings were bland and under seasoned. With so many other options in Denver, I most likely won’t return. Thank you.
I just want to dive into this bowl of ramen—it's so delicious! Bones is my favorite restaurant in Denver. I love that they have such a wide variety...
