This place is a great spot to meet for drinks or coffee. I don’t know why it isn’t busier on the weekends, but no complaints from me about a quiet atmosphere! View all feedback.
What HeatherH doesn't like about Awake:
Everyone was really nice and the atmosphere is great. I really love the concept because alcoholic makes me sick, but I have had far better non alcoholic cocktails other places. Maybe we were just there on an off night. View all feedback.
Wide range of interesting soft drinks. The servers are really nice. Relaxed atmosphere. Admittedly quite expensive, but I certainly have more money on alcohol before.
Today I celebrated 500 days of sobriety and it’s been my wish to go to Awake since I learned about it on one of my sober sites on Facebook! It did not disappoint!
The food was good, albeit overpriced, and the drinks were yummy. The problem was service. It took us 3 hours to have a sandwich and 2 drinks we would have ordered at least two more if we had been able to find ANYONE to take our order. No one ever came back to check on our food after dropping it off. We noticed several other tables struggling with this as well. A bit disappointed I didn't get to try all the drinks I wanted, or a dessert.
At Awake the atmosphere was good, very mellow, and relaxing with friendly and helpful servers. The drinks were creative and tasty, although we did find a few of the mixed drinks to be watery with too much ice to mixer ratio. This was disappointing because the cost of the drinks is still pretty high. The crudite plate was tasty but slightly overpriced for the volume of food. The artisanal grilled cheese and breakfast burritos we ordered were very dry and bland. Need to up the game on the food at Awake, but the atmosphere and the idea are on the mark.
There was no point in reserving a table because when we got there it was open seating.
