Description

Nestled in an offbeat area of Denver, this restaurant offers a mixed experience for diners. While many rave about the inviting atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food—particularly the fresh green chili and standout burgers—others express dissatisfaction with slow service and inconsistent food quality. The lively setting is enhanced by fun events like karaoke, making it a potential hotspot for a good night out. However, some customers have reported issues with order accuracy and staff attentiveness, leading to a divide in dining experiences. Overall, it’s a charming venue that may delight some while leaving others wanting more.

I was very disappointed with my visit. The chicken wings were frozen and tasted terrible. The waiter at the bar completely ignored me while I tried to place my order. I sat there for 10 minutes watching him serve other customers. It seems like it’s a family-run business, with underage kids working there. I won't be returning—this was the worst bar experience I've had in Denver, or even in Colorado.

I accidentally discovered this restaurant while I was in Denver for work. I arrived just in time for happy hour, where they offered a two-for-one deal on draft beers. The highlight, however, was their fresh green chili, made daily—absolutely fantastic! Gary, the bartender, was an excellent host as well. I’ll definitely return when I'm back next week. This place is a true hidden gem!

My neighbors took us to this charming little restaurant on June 25th, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quaint it was, despite its small size. It wasn't very busy at the time, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The place looked clean and inviting. They have a special "Philly Friday," and even though we visited on a Saturday, they still had a few leftovers. I tried a Philly cheesesteak with provolone and Cheez Whiz, and it was one of the hottest (not spicy hot, but temperature hot) and best cheesesteaks I've had in ages! It was so hot that I burned the roof of my mouth, but it was absolutely worth the discomfort. My family ordered burgers and chicken tenders, and everything was delicious and of top-notch quality. We'll definitely be returning soon. Thanks to my neighbors for introducing us to this fantastic spot!

We have come in several times and have asked for medium rare burgers. They are always super slow. The kid is stoned at the counter and asks the same question multiple times, and the burgers are always well done or worse. We are done with this disaster of a restaurant. As a restaurant owner myself it makes me sad to post this but it's just unacceptable! I'm surprised this place is still in business. Sad sad sad. It was a cool venue and good lactation but the fact there can be like two people in the place and it takes 40 minutes for food is BS! No DoorDash or third parties I have seen. Boo!!!!!!!

New ownership as of December 2018....friendly family, good atmosphere, the green chili is ridiculous! Can 't go wrong with any menu item. The beer is cold and the liquor selection is decent.... they have different activities every night, including karaoke on Thursday nights...no, I 'm not getting paid for this review... they 're new and praiseworthy...
