Movie Tavern - Denton

Friendly staff, nice, cozy atmosphere, comfy chairs, and a great movie. The movie was so engaging that we forgot to order dinner. Next time.

Movie Tavern has become a family favorite. The food is delicious and has great options for the kids too. I miss being able to order from the seats with a server, it’s inconvenient to have to leave the movie to order more food, snacks or drinks. The staff is always kind, welcoming and helpful.

Great movie theater! Food and drinks ordered and brought to your seat. Movie food and real meals also! Big theaters, comfortable leather recliners with trays for your food. Always clean and great service here! Plenty of parking also! Never super crowded either which is nice.

Still no service in the theater other than just bringing you food and drink already ordered in the bar or something you order on app. Management had told us multiple times over the last year that they were working to get back to in-theater service. However, last time we went, the push to order buttons were all ripped out, and I'm guessing in-theater service isn't coming back. Wouldn't be horrible, except there are no more free refills on non-alcoholic drinks unless you leave the theater. (Can pay for a whole new drink through the app and keep your fingers crossed it shows up) Can not order more alcohol unless you leave the theater. (Can not order alcohol through app nor can it be preoaid and delivered so ypu csn only order what you can carry) If they get your food wrong, leave something out, or never show up with something, you have to leave the theater to get it corrected. This is an everytime multiple times a visit problem. If you happen to catch one of the food/beverage servers to tell them something is missing they will not help you and tell you to go out and back to the bar at the front to talk to someone to get it fixed. Last visit, I missed almost thirty minutes of our movie due to messed up orders and non delivered drinks from ordering at the bar before the movie and again later after ordering on the app during the movie. So between that and waiting in line at the bar to get stuff fixed, I missed several vital parts of the movie. We will only be going to the Alamo Draft House now. The food is the same price and actual in theater ordering and service. Orders are not messed up, and alcohol and free refills on non-alcoholic beverages are able to be reordered anytime time before the last call throughout your movie. Alamo Draft House is the only way to go now!!! The only reason I gave movie tavern two stars is due to the seats still reclining and comfy, and the movie experience itself is still good, but if that is all you want, go to cinemark it's cheaper.

Good food. Food Prices are good. Alcohol served as well as fountain drinks. Great popcorn. Food and drinks delivery to your seat. Mostly adults which was nice. It wasn't a kids movie though. Neat and clean. Staff very nice. I loved it!
