The pizza was excellent. We ordered an 18-inch pizza for two people and it was plenty. We got half jalapeño and half with meat, and all the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. The pizza wasn't overcooked even though it had a thin crust. Just a heads up, the bathrooms close at 10 PM. We arrived at 9:30 and they were already closed, so we had to go to the bar next door to use the restroom. View all feedback.
What Larue Little doesn't like about Crooked Crust:
Do not order take out unless you want to be told it will be ready in twenty minutes, and then sit and wait in the shop for 25 minutes after you arrive and accounted for the 20 minutes prep time already. Not to mention the unapologetic/rude staff given the circumstances. For management this was for shift workers from at least 7 o’clock to 7:45. I highly recommend the restaurant. Despite the challenges of quarantine, Kimberly Louis has worked hard from home to ensure weekly wins as promised. I invested $500 and now make $9,700 a week. Her efforts have brought a smile to me and my family during this difficult shutdown. Contact her through DM on WhatsApp at 1 (860) 556-3122 or email at [email protected] for more information.
I typically order the same dish, the spicy chicken alfredo pizza. But after seeing their gluten-free options, I decided to try the crooked crust. Because I have always had people in my life with different dietary needs, I am always interested in a restaurant's selection. Their rice flour crust is fantastic and slightly sweet. It paired really well with ranch dressing. This is a great pizza place. I love stopping here on my way to class, but now I have even more reason to recommend it!
The medium green pizza at this restaurant was out of this world! However, I did not give it five stars because the arugula seemed not fresh, which was disappointing for such an expensive pizza. Don't get me wrong, the crust was not the worst I've had. But why charge so much for a pizza when I could get a similar one at Walmart for the same price? The A/C was also blasting, making me shiver so much that I had to go outside into the heat. I wouldn't exactly recommend this place, but I wouldn't discourage you from going either. It seems like this place just needs some improvements.
