This place is one of my favourite bakeries and serves really great pies! If you are after a quick cheap lunch this is the place to go.
No trip to Denmark is complete without a visit (or multiple visits) to the Denmark Bakery.
In any regional community a few things are integral to the way of life enjoyed by country folk.
Seven of us went to the restaurant on the Australia Day public holiday, Friday 26/1, and it was very busy. The staff were accommodating, combining two tables and finding extra chairs for us. We ordered a variety of dishes from the menu, including local Marron, prawns, fish and chips, chicken schnitzel, and chicken parmy. The food was excellent, the wines were of high quality, the beer was cold, and the service was top-notch. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Well done to the staff for their hard work. Rating: Rooms 1, Service 5, Location 5.
Went to eat there today, I regretted not reading the reviews before going... Staff is nice and polite, they even made a milkshake for my daughter and it wasn't on the menu! But food wise... My husband had a parmi, which was ok, just needed more salt, my daughter had a kids pizza and it was burnt, but even that pizza was way better than the burger I had. The beef patty was just awful, I can't even explain the taste because I've never had such bad tasting beef, on 2 out of the 3 bites I had it had little pieces of a soft chewy cartilage type of thing (I couldn't continue eating the third bite so I don't know if that bite had it as well). I felt sick and I have a really bad acid reflux, I'm glad I didn't get sick like the other reviewers and it's just this really bad reflux. Service: 4 Location: 4
