Finally we were attracted by the popularity of this fringe of town restaurant which seems unaffected by the Bus Stations move even further out of town. Service was certainly slow throughout despite us arriving earlier than many. Food was adequate but the roquefort salsa which choked my Pork Medallions was so salty to be practically inedible.
We were looking for some place for dinner on Saturday and saw this full bar/restaurant by the bus station. Almost every one was a local and the menu was excellent and great value. We had rice with lobster and it was really good. The place is not pretentious. It is honest set up catering mainly for locals but if you speak Spanish or better still Valencian you'll fit right in.
This was a sad experience, I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. They bring the food chaotically, one does not get to eat together with the rest of the people at the table, in my case not even the main dish with the side I had to order separately as there are only limited dishes with side included. Basically my husband waited for half an hour to receive half of his order (that didn't even needed cooking), then half of my order arrived, then the child's food, then what was left. On top of that it took them more than one hour to bring the beer I ordered, had to adress myself to 3 different waiters and it arrived at the end of our lunch.
Situated by bus station in not best part of town this bar serves great tapas and good meals with a bit of style tables and paperware are cool the young staff were great wine excellent and food was good and very reasonable well worth the little extra walk
