Not the cheapest place in the area to eat , but very comparable with prices in Dénia, the food and service are fantastic. We had 6 friends visiting and we all agreed that it was the best meal by far. View all feedback.
What deniagirlatheart doesn't like about Almar:
It was okey for a bit of lunch on the beach but boy oh boy do they sting you! there are nicer places on the beach to eat, also the staff act as if you are imposing on them, they also SOLD my husband a lighter that was obviously free from some sales rep or other and it didn't work. small portions, cold and over priced, we use this beach a lot but we won't bother eating here again. Whether you are on the beach looking for an excellent lunch break, looking for a relaxed evening location with superb sea view or visiting early or late season for a leisurely lunch this restaurant takes some beating. In high season you'd be advised to book if you want to eat on the terrace. The restaurant appears to be family run; the service is efficient, more friendly in less busy times perhaps, but nevertheless swift and professional. The menu is largely fish based but paella is available on a preorder basis or if you wait) and the lamb cutlets are also very good. We generally go for selection of fish and shellfish tapas the portions are generous so don't over order) and very fresh. The house salad with goats cheese and a honey dressing is to die for. Try also salted sea bass. We've visited as a couple as well as in larger groups and never really been disappointed. A favorite!

El sitio es un chiringuito que da al mar y ofrece comida básica. La calidad de los platos es buena, el precio tirando a alto y el servicio pésimo. No lo recomiendo. This place is a chiringuito with views to the sea. Food quality is good but a little bit pricy. The main problem is the amateurism of the staff, do not know how to run a restaurant. Not recommended.
