What M R likes about Marias Mexican American Food:
Well they weren't open on Sundays. I tried again a few months later and they are not open on Monday due to staffing. I was able to get in Thursday. I love the cozy tables separate from the other tables. Food is good. The salsa was flavorful but a little spicy. Prices are decent and my waitress was very attentive. View all feedback. Ordered cheese and onion enchiladas. Comes with beans and rice. I got 3 corn tortillas folded up, covered with cheese, with a pile of raw onions on top. WHAT???. That is right. read moreMaria's has garnered a mix of experiences from diners, balancing between commendable service and stark disappointments. While some guests appreciated the cozy atmosphere and attentive waitstaff, others lamented the lack of proper food preparation and issues like cold tortillas and double charges. Consistency seems to elude the kitchen, with reports of poor-quality dishes that detract from the dining experience. Despite these setbacks, a segment of patrons enjoyed flavorful meals at reasonable prices. With a charming owner and a potentially great menu, Maria's might benefit from heightened attention to both food quality and customer service to reclaim its once-promising reputation.
The margaritas at this restaurant are the best in town. I hope they consider adding a flat roof patio to overlook the train tracks.
