Was User at Kora's Place a mag?
Almost missed! Kora's is packed between the storage units a taxidermy place (Sorry for pun). Decor is not much to speak, but fantastic soul food! Had fried pipefish, collar, black-eyed peas Cornbread with sweet tea. Can't have much more soul than that! And on our tour through Alabamas 100 dishes. Too bad it was without my fiancée. Make sure to suck the pot likker with your cornbread! View all feedback.

I love a good cheeseburger and this is probably the best in Demopolis!! The staff are very friendly and the prices are excellent! This is the first time that I've ate at Mrs Kora's and we we'll definitely be back again very soon! Thank y'all!

Ordered a combo , cheese burger and 3 wings. The burger was very fresh and well made. Chicken wing were temperature hot and tasty. All in all very pleased. Will return.

If you're a burger fan, then Kora is a MUST stop. Ms. Kora prepares a variety of different burgers from a chili burger, the monster burger (my favorite! Burger, bacon, ham), the Big Daddy (mixture of ground beef and sausage), Fried Egg Burger and several others. You can also order the Super Burger (2lb patty I believe). Finish it and the frits and make the wall of glory. I hear they're preparing a Super Double... it's as big as a cake. Feel free to ask for roasted Okra instead of frying if you so desire. I even asked for Jalapeños that are contained in my burgers (in fact not upstairs). Kora's is a NO FRILLS burger and soul food that could be the best secret in the area. Do not be surprised when the Rev stops at the table to see how you enjoy the food. Stop reading and order a burger!

We are out of towners, googled this place and gave it a try. Very pleased with our selection!! Ribs, baked chicken, burgers, wings and sides were all delicious. Sweet tea, delicious!! Mrs. Kora is like your southern grandma!! Good food!!
