I tried to order to special maki rolls and luckily, the waitress stopped me telling me that no one orders that much. I ordered a Tuna Volcano roll and my friend had a bento box. Both meals were delicious but so large it was honestly a little off-putting. The one maki roll I ordered ended up being my dinner, my breakfast the next day and lunch as well. For around $14, that's a great value but I would definitely try to... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Sushi Wara:
Good quality sushi with some creative specials. Overpriced for the quality. Extremely poor service. Slow, unapologetic, rude at times. Not recommended for delivery, or take out. View all feedback.
Went with my brother and a friend of mine after church. The food was wonderful, the service was amazing and overall we enjoyed our time there. The servers were thoughtful and checked up on us when needed. Will recommended to anyone who's living in delta.Food: 5/5
I think this must have changed quite a bit since the previous reviews. Five seniors had dinner here last night at the recommendation of a friend who was not able to join us. He told us that the current owners are the third owners, who have restored the restaurant's excellent credentials. This place is small (six or so tables? , is mostly for take out, and we were concerned we would not get in around 7pm on Friday night, but we were the only eat in customers until just before we left, when another table was occupied. There were several orders waiting for pick up. We all were happy with our choices. I had the Spicy tuna delight appetizer Tuna, avocado, crab meat, green onion, yam tempura with spicy mayo. I think there was not avocado, but the portion was so large, attractive and tasty that it totally surpassed my expectations. I also had a salmon nigiri that was local free run (I forget the term . My friends were pleased with their dinner boxes, teriyakis and sushi combo with black rice. The server was very attentive, and when we paid with credit cards, she stepped noticeably away from the table when we were paying, but came right back to help one person who was having trouble.
Best yam tempura and the fact that I can get soy wraps instead of seaweed for my vegetarian sushi is amazing. Highly recommend! My go-to always <3
Beautiful spot, the folks that run this place are brilliant. Great service and the chefs are incredible. If you haven't gone here to sit down and eat, I'd recommend it.Food: 5/5
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is excellent. There is convenient parking available. I highly recommend this charming boutique-style restaurant located off the beaten path. It's a wonderful place to enjoy outstanding sushi. There are also plenty of vegetarian options available. The restaurant offers free parking in a shopping mall court with ample space. Additionally, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible with easy access and a wide open concept design.
