The rest of the food arrived, so we started eating while I reached out to Skip to report the missing items. Typically, we just receive credit for future orders and move on, but this experience was different. A representative from Sapporo’s called us and expressed their desire to resolve the issue. They said, “We’re very sorry that your food was missed with the driver. We want to make it right and deliver your items. Additionally, we’d like to thank you by offering you some extras.” They provided us with options to choose from. When the driver arrived, not only did he bring the originally missing items, but he also included everything we had selected, plus all the extra items they had offered. No disrespect to any other sushi places in Ladner or the surrounding restaurants, but they really need to raise their standards! This is what exceptional customer service looks like.
