I had also ordered some rolls with pleasant texture but it was the balance of the flavours of the nigiri that makes me want more.

I ordered food through Skip the Dishes and noticed that one bag of our order was missing. The rest of the food arrived, so we started eating while I reached out... read more I ordered food through Skip the Dishes and noticed that one bag of our order was missing. The rest of the food arrived, so we started eating while I reached out to Skip to report the missing items. Typically, we just receive credit for future orders and move on, but this experience was different. A representative from Sapporo’s called us and expressed their desire to resolve the issue. They said, “We’re very sorry that your food was missed with the driver. We want to make it right and deliver your items. Additionally, we’d like to thank you by offering you some extras.” They provided us with options to choose from. When the driver arrived, not only did he bring the originally missing items, but he also included everything we had selected, plus all the extra items they had offered. No disrespect to any other sushi places in Ladner or the surrounding restaurants, but they really need to raise their standards! This is what exceptional customer service looks like.

I tried the Leo S... read more I was visiting my friend's in Ladner and we went to this sushi spot they recommended. They have different lunch sets that were pretty filling! I tried the Leo Set with Beef and it came with sashimi, teriyaki beef, tempura and California roll. They do take reservations.

I have never been disappointed and we have... read more Staple sushi place in Ladner, and my personal favourite. They have an extensive menu and the service is outstanding. I have never been disappointed and we have tried it all, lunch, dinner, and takeout! My order of Spicy Agedashi Tofu (deep fried tofu with spicy Korean sauce, spicy mayo. Sesame seeds on top) was good and really flavourful but I mussed the Agedashi sauce that typically comes with it. Lightly breaded and packed with two very delicious sauces, this dish is easy to enjoy! My FAVOURITE place to get veggie gyoza is here! 6 pcs, Japanese veggie dumplings with gyoza sauce. And its so delicious. You can taste the veggies and the little pillows are full of flavor and chew. The dip is a great accompaniment! I don't share this one! Lastly, the yam tempura roll is a staple! Huge pieces that don't fall apart and is so fresh. I hate when places have their yams already cooked and use it on the go, not here. They do it fresh and its perfect! Finish the meal (or start) with their delicious miso soup!
