Chipotle Mexican Grill
Description
Frequent patrons of Chipotle are expressing growing dissatisfaction with recent experiences marked by long wait times, declining portion sizes, and service inconsistencies. Customers have noted that online orders seem prioritized over in-person diners, leading to frustration, especially when combined with meager food servings and unresponsive staff. Many have reported receiving tiny scoops of ingredients, which, coupled with inattentive service, has left them wanting more from a once-reliable favorite. As economic pressures mount, regulars are left pondering their loyalty to Chipotle amid concerns over quality and customer care.

There were 3 customers waiting in line, with about 10 online orders also needing to be filled. It seemed that the online orders had priority, even though there was no separate section for them as I have seen in other restaurants. Additionally, the two young employees in the back seemed very relaxed and occupied. This has happened twice before, and as a regular customer, I am disappointed.
Good food but some employees not very friendly. As we were on vacation in the area it didn't feel like a good experience.
I have been eating at various Chipotle locations across the country for over 10 years. I have had the opportunity to sit with the management team several times as they taste test food at different restaurants. With my experience in the restaurant industry since the 1980s, I am well versed in food costs and portion control. In today’s economy and with inflation, many restaurants are cutting corners to stay afloat. Last year, I noticed a significant decrease in portion size at Chipotle. Online orders were particularly affected, receiving much smaller servings. When I placed my order in person recently, I received only small scoops of food with little meat and extra rice to give the appearance of a larger portion. After just a few bites, I found myself with only two small pieces of chicken left, while the rest of my bowl was mostly rice and salsa. My other go-to restaurant in Florida, Pollo Tropical, offers larger portions at a more affordable price. After years of dining at Chipotle, I am disappointed to see that the quality and portion sizes have declined.
Decided to give this location another chance, but that was a mistake. I did a mobile order, and was not acknowledged. No hi, no how are you nothing. Then the food was not good. Will continue to go to the one on Atlantic instead. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Picked up dinner order and couldn’t believe how filthy the entire place was, front and back of the house. Trash on the floors, disgusting garbage area and the counter between the kitchen and service area and the line looked like they hadn’t even been wiped down all dayfood, wrappers, etc everywhere.
