Hôtel du Boeuf - Delémont

It is worth stopping for a moment to admire the establishment's sign and fresco (rue de la Préfecture). In 1897, the entire façade of the Hôtel du Bœuf was covered with a fresco by two artists from Bern. It read in large letters: Gasthof Ochsen. In 1960, the Delémontain painter Pierre Michel produced, in his spare time, the frescoes which adorn the main entrance and which represent an ox seen from the front surrounded by a peasant woman and a peasant. The sign also depicts a crowned ox. On the other side of the establishment, the terrace (west side) has a view of the many restaurants on Place Roland Béguelin (formerly Place Brûlée).

Nice terrace, but like the others on the square... neither better nor worse. Noon.. no dish of the day. Took a homemade cordon bleu, good meat but very greasy cheese, also greasy fries and too salty salad..the.next x I'll try another restaurant!!!

Bei ein einem Stadt Bummel in Delemont, haben wir die Tafel gehen mit dem Mittagsmenu (Voressen, Kartoffelstock und Gemüse). Das hat uns sehr angebrochen und haben auch dort das Menu genossen. Einfache Kost, in einem rustikalen Rahmen serviert. Paris Leistung tiptop auch der Service sehr freundliche.

Restaurant bien connu de Delémont avec des plats simples et traditionnels ! Petite carte avec en spécialité la fondue ou le jambon. Terrasse agréable Prix correct et service rapide. Qualité au rendez-vous. Accueil et service correct. Un bistrot typique de la vieille-ville

Des plats du Jura, du goût, du choix sans excès, de la convivialite et des prix accessibles...Vive la fondue Suisse!
