Remember When
Description
A quirky trove of vintage cookie jars, Fiestaware, Christmas ornaments and collectible ceramics offers hard-to-find pieces and careful shipping — even espresso — but the experience is uneven. Shoppers praise the knowledgeable owner, unique inventory and secure packaging, yet many note steep, hit-or-miss pricing and troubling customer service: restrictive photo rules, selective restroom access, and instances of rude staff that dampen an otherwise charming, nostalgia-filled shop.
Feedback
It felt like a double standard that I had to walk down the street to a gas station while this woman was allowed to use the shop's facilities. What makes it more disappointing is that I had spent over $248 in the store and didn't receive the same courtesy. It's hard to be the bigger person in situations like this, and many people in my position might decide not to spend any more money here due to the unfair treatment. Nevertheless, I did end up purchasing three items as gifts for my mom for Mother's Day and two others for my future grandchildren. It's essential to promote goodwill, as how we treat others ultimately reflects back on us. The employee at this shop should reconsider their selective restroom access policy since customers can choose to take their business elsewhere. I usually leave reviews when I travel to help others, and with over a million views on my reviews, I can honestly say I've experienced much better service in other establishments.
For those who collect nick nacks, they'd be in heaven or for those who have the little ceramic towns. They had some antiques, but mostly ceramic nick nack and collectable ceramics
Very responsive and helpful! my fiestaware 3 piece bistro set in paprika made it here yesterday in one piece! very pleased with my experience purchasing this set!!! BTW the packaging is better than what I have received from retail stores!
Expensive Cookie jars, porcelain dioramas, Betty boop and other similar knick knacks, funko pops and a weirdly snippy staff. Got yelled at for taking a photo of a batman cookie jar to send to my dad (batman fan). They don 't allow photos so if you don 't want to get yelled at, avoid doing so lol. Did not see a sign indicating the no photos rule but when i go to antique stores, i take photos of things in cases that i have my eye on so i know where they are later when i ask for the staff to open them with the designated key. So im not sure what the issue is. Definitely would not return. Not my thing and I 'm used to going to antique stores with friendly talkative staff.
0 stars if that was an option.Old lady that works there is rude...don't bother asking her any questions! I can also confirm the other reviews that say cookie jars are overpriced yes, they are correct. A lot of overpriced items in this store horrible customer service. Will not be coming back again. Check out the other antique stores nearby; very nice people in those stores :
