Los Magueyes - Del Rio

Wow! This place is a hidden gem! It is also quite hidden and a true hole in the wall! A couple operates out of here on their own so expect a wait but very tasty! Lots of neighbors coming in so that's promising too! I prefer the tacos al pastor over the bistek I'm used to carne asada in Cali?! and their intestine is surprisingly good! Yes, intestine! Try it before you knock it! Sad I found this on my last day in Del Rio :

This place was AMAZING. The food was authentic and incredible. The people were so kind. You can see them make the food right there and it is so fresh.

OMG, these tacos were made fresh and they tasted delicious. Place looks kind of sketched and some people may not like it. It gave him that Mom and Pop feel it. Service was super good and price was super cheap. If you plan to order a d eat in advance, it took about 20 minutes to get out for my order. Very recommended.

So good. The pickled red onions are amazing, the tacos are fantastic and good value!

This was my place to go during my nearly two-year pilot training! The owners were super friendly and the food was delicious! I was always greeted with a smile and a great conversation.
