What Arthur C doesn't like about Rositas Mexican:
we went there last Thursday night. god it was terrible. the taco and enchilada meat was watery, greasy and extremely over-seasoned. we had no time to eat our nachos because they rushed the food right out. everything was covered in what I think is American cheese, cheap stuff. the steak tacos tasted dry and salty. chicken verde was enjoyed by my wife but the plate was a mess, cheese and sauce dripping off the plate. We stopped there for lunch and really enjoyed the food. We had her guacamole as an appetizer and then I had the steak tacos and my friend had the cake. Both entrees were excellent. It's a cute place where we stop, and when we're back, we'll stop. View all feedback.

Rosita's service is always good and the food is enjoyable. It's the best place in town to have lunch with a friend.

read moreRosita's, a local Mexican eatery, has drawn a blend of opinions from patrons. While many appreciate the attentive staff and vibrant atmosphere, several dining experiences highlight issues with food quality and service. Guests noted greasy and oversalted dishes, a lack of traditional offerings like horchata, and instances of cold food and rushed service. Despite these criticisms, others enjoy favorites like steak tacos and prickly pear margaritas, lauding the restaurant's comforting ambiance. While some find the authenticity and creativity commendable, others seek improvements in flavor and presentation. Overall, Rosita's remains a place of contrast in DeKalb's dining scene.
