The cuisine is more modern than we would have expected from a Michelin-starred establishment with such a renowned tradition. The dishes were consistently perfect, culminating in a fantastic (and chocolate-free) dessert. The portion sizes were perfectly balanced, and with appropriately long intervals between courses, we didn't feel like we had eaten too much at the end of the evening. The service was competent, attentive, and discreet – it couldn't have been better. Excellent wine pairings, all from the region! Highly recommended!

The food was generally very good, but after an initially friendly demeanor, the sommelier made it clear after just ten minutes that he didn't think we belonged in this restaurant. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. To finish off our meal, I wanted to order a cheese plate. The sommelier then asked in an unfriendly tone whether I hadn't already had my fill. When I replied no, he reacted rudely and rudely pointed out that the cheese plate cost 22 euros. For this reason, we declined and paid immediately. The fact is: This kind of behavior seriously damages the reputation of a gourmet restaurant and is completely unacceptable. Therefore, I can only give the service one star – even that wouldn't be deserved.
