When the service i... read more The service at this restaurant is quite poor. While the food is excellent, sometimes that's not enough to make up for the overall experience. When the service is lacking, it really diminishes the enjoyment of dining out. The owner, Jodi, is exceedingly rude and doesn't appear to value her customers. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, and I’ll be sure to share my experience with others. Word of mouth can be very influential.

It seems that the Outpost Bar and Grill in Deer River, MN has new management. We've been patrons since they first opened, but we’ve never experienced such rude service from the staff as we did on May 30, 2011. Keep this in mind: the customer is not an inconvenience to your job; rather, the customer is your job.
