Wow. I stopped by to try the Lopez Island ice cream (which is amazing!!) and ended up also ordering some loaded fries. They were so delicious that we ended up staying to eat. The food was fantastic - we tried the brisket basket, ribs, and cod tacos, and everything was excellent. The drinks selection was great, with a variety of beers, wines, and cocktails. The mac and cheese was the best I've ever had. The restaurant... View all feedback.
What Carolyn F doesn't like about Deer Harbor Inn:

Live music. Outdoor seating. Beautiful view. Awesome New York steak dinner. ...and the cat visited!
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the atmosphere is strange, outdated, and unappealing. The website photos are misleading as they do not show any view of the water, only a strange yard. In addition to the creepy ambiance, there is an old-fashioned piano player/singer who constantly performs and goes around the room asking for tips. If it wasn't for the good food, the experience would not have been worth it. Overall, it was a creepy experience.

I started to sneeze only to learn there were cats in the building. To which I'm deathly allergic . We ate there 4 years ago and had a much better experience. Whatever has happened .
Love coming here. The food is consistently very good. We enjoyed the salmon special last night perfectly prepared fresh wild coho salmon. The soup, a white bean red pepper soup, was quite special, especially with the warm, freshly made sourdough baguette. We loved the Chateau St Michelle 2015 Columbia Valley Cabernet. At $42 it was a great wine at a fair price. And the entire evening was topped off by wonderful live keyboard music and blackberry cobbler! Of all the places to enjoy a summer evening I cannot think of a better choice!
