They threw it in for free! The staff was lovely, especially during a time when many restaurants seem to be overcharging customers.

She took over the restaurant a few months ag... read more I recently went back to Sydney and visited this restaurant, whose owner is a very friendly lady and also my friend. She took over the restaurant a few months ago and has been working very hard to manage it. Initially, the restaurant had received poor online reviews due to its previous ownership, which greatly impacted its reputation. Despite feeling disheartened, she persevered and focused on enhancing the food quality and customer service. As a result, the reviews have improved significantly. We are all impressed and proud of her determination and hard work. Keep it up!

I am a big fan of Chinese food and I usually do not write reviews, but I felt it was necessary in this case. The food is fresh and delicious. Some people may complain about the long wait and claim that it does not taste like traditional Chinese food, but they are not aware of the effort and care put into each dish. The food may take a while to prepare, but it is made to order, meaning it is authentic and not loaded with MSG like some other Chinese restaurants. I urge you to give it a try and appreciate the time and effort that goes into each dish. It is better to dine in or pick up your order than use a delivery service like Menulog, as they may take business away from small restaurants. Trust me, this place is worth it.

So far my experiences there has definitely improved then before. Hopefully they will be able to make it a place better and gain the more customers in the future!

Soggy bits of bread with sesame, no s... read more We called for delivery while on holidays in Dee Why. First wrong order was delivered..... Opened up Entree of Prawn Toast. Soggy bits of bread with sesame, no sign of a Prawn. I called to question and the lady on phone screamed at me that she knows how to make and no prawns. Prawn Mince, I looked again at Toast no sign of mince just sesame seed. Called back again and she kept screaming and hung up!! What happened to Customer Service, clearly there is none at Jade Chopsticks...... No wonder so many bad reviews on here.
