The minute you get out of your car, you can feel how special you?re stay is going to be. Our room was a gem, very clean and the most spectacular view. We enjoyed a fabulous, tasty dinner including appetizers and cocktails. Everything was absolutelydelicious! The service was exceptional all the way around. Very impressed watching the owners helping wherever needed and alwayswith a smile. Highly recommend!
Had a night away from the kids with the wife. Booked the romance package which included the room at 160 plus ninety for the dinner which included an appetizer each, entrees, desert, and a bottle of wine or champagne. The dinner and service waswonderful, with good food and choices. The room however was lacking. At that price range I've stayed in much nicer rooms inmore expensive locations. The bed was advertised as a queen but seemed small, the room itself was small but seemed sated. Thebathroom was tiny with no room and a tiny shower. The shower had several spiders we had to remove and the shower head barelyworked because it was so crusted with hard water deposits. Not what I would expect at that price range for a hotel with theLucernes reputation.
The Lucerne hosted our wedding and reception, the event was amazing. From planning to execution, everything was perfect. The coordinator was great, staff was kind and helpful and the food was spectacular. Rooms on the rear upper levels supply beautifulviews. We would definitely recommend the Lucerne Inn to anyone looking for a wonderful venue.
My wife and I stayed here as part of our 10 year wedding anniversary trip up the west coast. The front desk was amazing giving advice on all the local things to do. We ate at the restaurant twice while staying and the food was amazing!! Service, rooms, and view from the inn can not be topped. Would definitely stay here again!!!
Had Thanksgiving dinner at the Inn. I was really looking forward to the food. Th early courses were great as always. I ordered the crab topped haddock with squash and sweet potato. Others at the table ordered the Turkey or ham. All of us were disappointedwhen we were served. All of the food was dumped together in a pile. The sauce for the haddock covered everything on my plate. Itruined the taste of the sweet potato and squash. My mother nearly refused to eat any of her meal. I had to get a side plate toput her ham and potatoes so she could eat them. I think the food would have been good but whoever decided to plate the food in apile made a huge mistake. At nearly $50 a plate a more traditional presentation would have been appropriate.
