So nice an... read more Cool location, cool design of the entrance area. Especially the concept with reception, toilets and kitchen in shipcontainers, tabels of cabel drums. So nice and rustic. Just as I want it. Here you can rent electric longboards, go on canoetrips, and try shooting with bows. Me and my wife though were just too busy wisiting the mountains and forests around Hrensko. But on our last day we did have a walk around the royal castle and the city near by. Nice city. Some might say that Camp Decin is a bit too loud with the traffic above the camp. But you get used to it. It 's a city camp in the best ways! And further more... for me as petanque-junkie, the single 5 by 15 meters petanque court just outside the gate was just perfect for training (as I was to get home to tournaments three weekends in a row). Like Praguecamp as was also a city camp I 'll say like Arnold in The Terminator: I 'll be back!

The location is great for hiking in the area, either by walking directly, driving to a nearby spot, or taking public transit. As the camp is situated near a roa... read more The location is great for hiking in the area, either by walking directly, driving to a nearby spot, or taking public transit. As the camp is situated near a road and railway there is some noise during the day and into the evening, though it quiets down at night, but light sleepers should be aware. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and made spending time at the camp bar during resting days a lovely experience.

We've travelled a long way and the fact we could enter the camp at any hour with a pin code was really a for us. It's very easy to check in. Great place to stay if you want to visit České Švýcarsko, it's a short drive. You have a lot around you (Lidl, Mc Donalds, KFC... . Only point: it's close to a bridge, so if you're a sensitive sleeper it becomes really difficult (you can hear the cars driving above the road . It didn't bother us though. Very nice camping.

If you’re going to Dêčín, staying here is a must. 10/10
