Checkers - Decatur

The service was quick and friendly, however, the food was a bit messy. The burger had too much lettuce, which made the sandwich cold.

We purchased two spicy chicken sandwiches and a large order of fries from this restaurant. The fries were extremely hard and inedible, like wooden sticks. Additionally, we were charged over $6 for the fries. When we tried to contact the store to voice our complaint, they hung up the phone and refused to answer any further calls.

I visited the restaurant today and waited in line behind two other customers. The service was slow, but eventually it was my turn to order. However, I noticed that several cars that arrived after me were served and left before me. When I knocked on the window to inquire, the cashier explained that they were prioritizing drive-thru customers. I didn't appreciate the condescending tone and unfortunately responded with a rude comment. I regret my actions and apologize, but I have decided not to return to this restaurant.

They don’t use the right (car) side drive through anymore and the employees yell at you like you’re the one in the wrong when they are the ones in the wrong. (The menu says pull to the window to order and it’s not blocked). That was the one cool thing about Checkers and they ruined it. Especially ruined it this time because my passenger was the one that wanted the meal there not me.

It was around 10:30 p.m. and all other eateries had closed. Needing to find something light to eat, we went to Checkers. Service was pleasant and fast in the drive through. The rep got the order right and did it fast, instead of asking us to repeat the order again and again, like at some drive throughs. Also, even though there were about 4 cars in front of us, the line moved fast.
