What Lew Balistreri dislikes about Brick Store Pub:
After a few back-and-forth with our waiter, we could (1) have a Jenseits Burger-Patty between slices of wheat toast (they rolls have milk) with tomatoes, pimples and raw onion (caramelized onion used butter); and (2) an on-Menu Farro salad. The latter was surprisingly small, as in a soup cup (not soup bowl) — it was good, but you might consider ordering two. View all feedback.
The food is transcendental. Highly recommend the pierogis and pot pie.
Best vibe and excellent elevated pub food! It’s the kind of place you don’t really want to leave even once your meal is over! So cozy. Our favorites are the burger and the fish and chips!
Really freaking awesome place. No wait. Server was nice. Atmosphere was laidback. Not too loud for a bar. Food came out quickly and we never felt rushed. Hubby did not like his Yazoo drink it was too sour for him. But the food was exceptionally good. The fried pierogies was freaking phenomenal. Fried mashed potatoes have never tasted so darn delicious. The sauce it paired with was sweet and the pecans added a crunchy texture to the mix. Seriously so yummy. The pork belly basket was soooooo good. The portions look small at first glance but was more than enough as an entree. Hubby enjoyed his fish and chips and my kids enjoyed their burgers. The fries were excellent. I rarely give out 5 star reviews but this place earned each one!!
I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, and it was delicious, just what I was looking for. I 'm so happy a pub has healthy options for food. I travel alone a lot and tend to pick pubs because it is easy to blend in. Most only have fried foods. This was a great find and will come back. Ordered the flowers chocolate cake, never tried before. It is good, thick, and just a bit dry. Maybe a chocolate, raspberry, or caramel sauce drizzle would take it to the next level.
