Has great breakfast and lunch options! I would have to say the cow patty burger is so far the best burger and the staff is nice and friendly. Also they have the best selection of pies. Excellent meal and great service. The hot meatloaf was delicious. Home cooked comfort food. Locally sourced beef. Very reasonable prices. Walked over from the campground and right off 35.
We are from North Iowa, working in Lamoni and came to the Barnyard for supper, honestly it was the best meatloaf I've ever eaten in a restaurant, the food was delicious, hot and service was super great, my employees food they were very happy with and we would all deff go back again. Thank you, a gem in the rough! I was kinda shocked by the prices to be honest, way lower then I see other places, so I wasn't expecting it to be that good
