This restaurant is a draw for a lot of people and I am failing to understand why. It may be because it looks like an old Cabin. The food is very average, steaks are cooked to order and are good but Chain Steakhouses offer a much better steak for the price. Service is average and almost Dinerish. Seating is crowded due to the small rooms. Nothing on menu would entice me to return. View all feedback.
The best smoked pork chops I have ever had. We will definitely come here again. Great service and a local favorite. Thank you
We always try to treat ourselves to a meal at The Pond House when we are in the area and we are never disappointed. We both had the half order smoked pork chops, sweet potato and salad. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place. Worth the drive from East Bank Campground.

Dinner was fantastic!! The steak was served as ordered and did not disappoint. The whole restaurant is on the small side but still accommodated our large crowd. Nice homey atmosphere.
We went out as a small group. This was a first time for all of us. I thought the setting was really great. The building is this rustic old cabin on a lush green field. We were seated right away on a Friday evening. The staff was friendly and reasonably attentive. The app we had was huge. Salads were ...small but nice in presentation and the dressing was decent quality. Sides were ok. I had the smoked chops, my wife had the crab cakes and the other couple with us both had fried seafood. My chops were pretty good and the Red Eye sauce was good. The seafood was your typical breaded, deep fried seafood. The shrimp were a decent size and you got a decent amount for the money. Crab cakes were a nice size a little fishy and our group thought they were a little over cooked. For a small town restaurant, this place is definitely above the bar. Prices are decent enough that you can go on the regular yet it is a unique enough place that this can be a special occasions kind of place. This is a restaurant I would go to again and bring guests from out of town to.
