I was expecting a simple slice when the waitress brought out an enormous piece instead. Honestly, I don't even remember what my girlfriend ordered because I was too busy savoring my cake. But she did tell me later in the car that her dish was one of the best she had enjoyed in a long time. I happily informed her, with chocolate all over my teeth, that the cake was incredible—light and fluffy. Have we made return trips just for dessert? Absolutely! We go there not just when we're nearby, but specifically because we’re craving it.

The wait times are quite long, and the prices seem a bit high for meals you could easily prepare at home. I wasn't impressed with the service either. The staff rarely comes back to check on you, and they often seem irritated when you request simple items like butter for your potatoes, a straw for your child's drink, or napkins. One waitress even told me she wouldn’t bring my kids their drinks until their dinner arrived. I can handle that decision myself, thank you very much.
