Mint 29
Description
Mint 29 offers upscale fusion cuisine with an international twist. Located in a historic building dating back to 1929, it was formerly a federal bank and a music store before becoming the renowned restaurant it is today. Our menu features organic kobe beef, fresh seafood, sushi, signature drinks, and draft beer. We source seasonal ingredients from local Michigan farmers in the summer to ensure top quality every visit.

Great 1st time experience! Venue was live, bubbly and busy! Enjoyed my girl time catching up with my besties! Great food and drinks! Looking to bring our husbands back for round 2! The next time maybe our waiter will pour our water in our glasses like he did the other tables he waited on. Despite that, good atmosphere!
I 've only been here once, and it remains as one of the top places I tell people on where not to go. For a high end restaurant they seriously lack in manners and hospitality. From the moment we sat down the wait staff was rude and impatient. We came for a birthday, and right when we sat down we were told that we had a 90 minute limit on the table of which they reminded us not once, not twice, but three times. We ordered drinks and apps, which took time to come out. Then it took about a half an hour in between apps and our entree for our food to come out. I ended up switching seats with my partner during that time since he was sharing his entree with someone else. The waitress expressed that my changing of my seat was an inconvenience and sat at the table switching orders around on her device while the group sat quietly in awkward silence. The food was average. We were going to order birthday dessert but unfortunately our 90 minutes was up by then. For the prices it 's not worth it.
No taste to dish and very little sauce. Too many stems on whatever greens are piled on plate. Difficult to eat. When I ordered months ago, the seaweed was shredded and sauce was delicious. Very disappointed that this item was changed.
Ok literally OMG The place is stunning during December. Recommend making reservations if you want seating downstairs. We walked in at 5:15pm on a Friday when it opened and they put us on the second floor, which wasn't as pretty but they said they were mostly booked. Menu Recommendation: *Creekstone steaks are all halal *Tamato and Burrata salad-great savory starter *8 oz angus filet with truffle butter- cooked to medium perfection *parmesan truffle fries *classy ambiance *date night vibes *great for party of 7-10 *great customer service *high top tables have purse hooks The flavor in their filet is better than some pricier places i've been too. Will definitely be returning!
Restaurant was short on staff Thursday evening which resulted in our Waiter (Chris) working at a frantic pace as he had to tend bar too. Resulted in our having to remind him a couple of times for items requested. That being said, he was extremely pleasant and endearing and our food scrumptious. Love the vibe of the restaurant and plan to return in the near future.
