Gateaux
Description
Gateaux Patisserie enchants visitors with its elegant decor and friendly atmosphere, making it a delightful spot for dessert lovers. While the bakery offers a tempting variety of pastries and delightful themes—like the current Harry Potter extravaganza—prices can be on the higher side for the portion sizes. Many patrons appreciate the moist cakes and seasonal decorations, though some note a recent dip in quality amidst rising costs. With limited seating and slower service at times, it’s best enjoyed during quieter hours. Overall, it’s a charming destination worth visiting, especially for special treats and memorable photo ops.

I love this place so much!! I’ve been a customer since the place opened up. Everything tastes good and done so professionally. Cakes are good quality and the decorations are incredible. I love how they decorate the place depending on the season or in themes which I find very aesthetic, beautiful, and Instagramable. Their patisseries taste good, and the filling is always light and fresh. However, I will say in the last couple of months, I felt the quality going down and the prices went up. This could be due to them expanding. I still recommend it and would go there again!
I went to this bakery with a group of five people. The decor is elegant and we ordered their top three pastries, which were delicious and beautifully presented. The taste was good, but nothing extraordinary. There is limited seating, but we were able to find a table when we went late at night on the weekend. The service was slower than we anticipated, taking about 25 minutes. Prices were on the higher side. Overall, it is a nice bakery and I would recommend it.
The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious treats in a clean environment. However, the prices are a bit high for the location. While the desserts were good, I have tasted more authentic options for a lower price. I would recommend trying it out, but I personally do not plan on returning.
Gateaux Patisserie is a lovely spot both inside and on the patio. The staff is friendly and the desserts are delectable. Currently, they are featuring a Harry Potter theme, perfect for snapping some photos.
7/27/23: I got the two cakes shown in the photo. This was a blueberry cheesecake and a custard berry cake,(writing review 10 days after so... . Both were extremely wet-moist cakes... and both were really good, probably the wettest cakes I've ever remember having. I'm not sure if its the complementary components of the cake(toppings/cream/etc or what, but it was a great experience having it.Unfortunately the prices... left cake was $12, right was $9... that is well outside a normal budget for me for the quantity you get, and thus it loses a (it is pretty good, but not amazing . If price is not an issue, and you like really moist cakes, then this may be 5 for you. I would love to support the business, but it is too much for me, considering there are other places that, despite not being as wet-moist as these were, are of equitable quality and for more agreeable prices.
