**Dining Experience at a Local Treasure: A Mixed Bag** The restaurant offers a mixed dining experience, blending fantastic fare with service inconsistencies. Customers rave about the delicious chicken tenders, sliders, and root beer floats, highlighting the attentive, friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Many appreciate the kid-friendly options and spacious outdoor seating. However, some diners have encountered long wait times, incorrect orders, and subpar drink portions. While several patrons experienced exceptional service, others noted unresponsive staff during peak hours. Despite minor grievances, the establishment remains a notable stop for a satisfying meal, especially for those exploring the area or venturing from afar.

The food is absolutely fantastic. The chicken tenders and sliders are incredibly moist and delicious. The vegan burger is also impressive. Pair it with some shoestring fries and a root beer float, and you'll have a satisfying meal. The Wisconsin cheese curds are delightful as well—soft and not overly greasy despite being fried. This is definitely a great spot for a quick and tasty meal, especially for those visiting... View all feedback.

What Modesto Schmidt dislikes about A&w:
I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant today. I ordered three chicken dishes, but two of them were quite small—about a third of the usual size. The sauce I received was only half-filled, which wasn't enough for my meal. My large drink was mostly ice and barely had any beverage in it. Additionally, when I requested ketchup, it never arrived. I visited the restaurant today to get lunch for my son and decided to order the peach shake. That turned out to be a big mistake. I had an allergic reaction, and my throat started to close up while I broke out in hives. The only other time I've had a reaction like this was to Keflex, an antibiotic. I've never had an allergy to peaches before, so I'm not sure what caused this response. Thankfully, I had only taken a small sip, so I gave it to my son instead. I then encouraged him to enjoy it.

I arrived at the restaurant with two cars in the driveway and waited 10 minutes for someone to take my order. Then, it took another 20 minutes to actually receive my food. After eating, I had to wait an additional 5 minutes to get the correct order. The server insisted she had done everything correctly, but the acknowledgment showed otherwise. The service was slow and rude throughout the experience.

I visited this restaurant while exploring the area, and I was impressed! The space is really clean and well-decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic—seriously, the chicken sliders were the best I've ever tasted! The fries and root beer floats were also excellent. Overall, it's a wonderful spot for a quick meal.

We stopped here for lunch on our way back from the Henry Ford Museum, and we placed a rather large order. With several special requests, we ended up with at least eight sandwiches and eight drinks. Everything was correct, and they provided plenty of napkins and sauces. This place is famous for its root beer floats, and for good reason—they're delicious, with a perfect balance of ice cream and root beer. The food was good, and the prices were only slightly higher than those at McDonald's. I would definitely eat here again. There’s a lovely grassy area outside with tables for those who prefer dining al fresco. The parking lot was also very clean.
