Description

A cozy, tapas-focused spot with stylish decor and personable staff serves many delicious, shareable plates—standouts include mango-habanero items and flatbreads. Guests praise the intimate booths and relaxed vibe, but caution that the kitchen and service can be inconsistent: dishes may arrive late, miscooked or overly salty, and the restaurant frequently runs low on plates, cups and certain menu items. Prices are on the higher side and only small/medium tapas are offered, making it best for light meals, dates or small groups rather than big appetites.

The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant as well. Keep in mind that this restaurant only offers appetizers, so it’s not ideal if you’re very hungry or planning to order several dishes. I highly recommend the mango habanero poppers.

Oh my gosh!! For a start, we waited like almost 15 mins to be seated and another 10 mins till waitress came with menus... AND restaurant was totally not busy... we were the only ones that had just walked in. Then we proceeded to place our order.. while ordering, the manager came out giving instructions to the waitress that there is no more rib steak skewers... Now this was 6.50pm and restaurant opens at 5pm.Then it took forever to get our food. Meanwhile, we asked for tea. And they only had 2 cups for tea.. so some of us were left without cups. Then another couple came in and were eventually seated only to be told that restaurant was running very low in plates..Interestingly, the restaurant is small and was ¾ empty..End of story, although the food is good. They were under prepared and under serviced. Most dishes other than the rib steak skewers are made with pulled beef... so don't order too much as it's too heavy. The waitresses are very nice and felt embarrassed to relay the shortages.

Their website doesn't work and there's no menu posted online. The menu on their Facebook is two years old and isn't up to date, although it shows that the prices have doubled in less than two years. $12 for chips and Guacamole! Not all your customers are from Manhattan or five towns. We went here in 2021 and while the food was good, the portions were small, they were out of everything and there was no service since they had two waiters working the whole place.

We had dinner at Tapas on Mother's Day, and we were early, when there was no crowd. First: the service is very friendly, but casual. If you think they have forgotten you, speak up! Second: The Tapas plate servings are larger than when they originally opened. I think that 3 tapas plates with salad and dessert is likely a good meal for two. Third: the food. Some of it is delicious. Some of it is okay. Tapas has a relatively small menu, but it is varied, and different from most other kosher restaurants. You can have an enjoyable change of pace meal here.
