I was expecting a normal agriturismo as you can find in Valtellina hundred of them, but this was really special. All the traditional food we got were homemade, fresh pasta for Pizzoccheri, fresh pasta for Lasagne, artigianal salami and Bresaola, very good sciatt. Farm Holidays found by chance in search of a small place to spend a few days in the nature, was definitely the discovery of our 2022. coming is very simple, little more than 1h of car from Milan. stone structure immersed in the green, is surrounded by a breathtaking panorama and, for the joy of the small but also the big ones, it is possible to caress horses, deer, daini, sheep and crocodiles boris the beautiful German shepherd of the owners. very nice room, large bathroom, fridge and plenty of kettle and necessary to enjoy a relaxing herbal tea. common area, a beautiful garden with the possibility to sit in the sun on a comfortable deck chair. wonderful breakfast with apple juice, jams and own production cake. exceptional lunch we enjoyed all the typical specialties of the Valtellino at a reasonable price. super cake! half an hour drive from the beautiful mello valley. a special thanks to the owner anna for the super availability and fantastic welcome. absolutely recommended! we will be back soon!
Lovely place, surrounded by mountains and surrounded by nature and animals; ideal for those who want to spend a few days or even a few hours of relaxation. strategic position, near the mello valley, valley of the masino, colic, morbegno etc. exquisite personal: anna and antonella welcomed us and made us feel at home immediately. anna was also our guide to recommend the various places to visit, taking into account the two small children. excellent breakfast and lunch in the farm before leaving to remember, among all the amazing lazzoccheri handmade and cut that was “swimming in the mouth”. As every year we organize a Sunday lunch in this farm, which in my opinion is very good and the portions are abundant (as it is right). The waiters are fast and very kind, we requested some “Bis” of the dishes and were brought without problems; the price is right for the quality of the products and the quantity, since it is possible to ask for bis, and are included wine water coffee bitter and covered. The dishes I liked all, sliced exceptional, the skits and the pizzicherei are just the classic Valtellinesi (as I like! here also make taroz, typical dish of the valley, which is not found in all restaurants. The idea of the second first risotto is always beautiful. the second ones were exquisite, their cut is fabulous and of an extraordinary softness, the involtini were very particular since the chicken had a heart of apple inside while outside was covered with bacon in a perfect mix between sweet and salty. The idea of mixed desserts is beautiful, with many tastings of various cakes.
We stayed at dinner in this lovely farm (where we promised to return also to stay) which is surrounded by nature: you can also see several deer nearby. children will certainly like it. as also likes the nearby wood full of carved logs to form the most diverse images. then go at least an hour before the meal to take a walk in the woods and admire the deer. They return to the meal, we dined inside (besides in the evening, despite it was a little too cold), completely respected space and however also the interiors are beautiful. Fixed menu consisting of vegetable appetizers under oil, ricotta with honey and jam and a nice cutter of meats. To follow a plate of sciatts, really delicious and an accompanying salad. As the first lazzoccheri (I ate better) and risotto with sassella and bresaola (good). a pity that the portions are not just from a farm, in the sense that they seem more than tastings. What would not even be to incriminate if not because, at the request of a bis, we were told that you could not have because they didn't have enough for other customers too. this was definitely a negative note (actually the only one) that you do not expect in a fixed menu farm. To follow in rolls with baked potatoes (the latter delicious), then a taste of local cheeses and the best course of the evening, a slice of cooked beef to perfection. one of the best cuts ever tasted, beautiful to see and delicious on the palate. Fortunately, despite the usual portions of taste, at least of this we were brought the bis. and menomale because it is really sublime. To close homemade desserts: a note of merit to the cake of bitters, space! Another pleasant surprise the honey digestive, really interesting goto. Honest fixed menu price for location and quality of raw materials. Apart from the speech portions and absence of bis (which to some may not matter), the place is beautiful and you eat well. absolutely tangled.
