Reza's - Dayton
Reza's
Description
Tucked into downtown Dayton, this elegant, minimalist roastery-café blends house-roasted beans, thoughtful service and an airy, family-friendly atmosphere. Standout offerings include excellent pastries, savory sandwiches and a highly praised avocado-and-egg toast; staff gladly demo and sell beans. The space suits remote workers and local visitors alike, with tall counters and kid-friendly facilities. A few guests note brighter/acidic espresso notes and occasional pricing or service inconsistencies; Turkish coffee is currently paused.

The best employees. Always say hello. Always chat while making the drink. I stop in to get a bag of beans and a drink every week or two. Today I bought the 0 Dark 30 new roast. Tried it on drip and it was really good. Pulled two shots at home and turned out great. Turned it in to a shaken espresso because I was feeling in the mood, sue me.
Customer Service is what sets an experience apart. $40 for lower then par food and coffee is not worth it. Add in horrible customer service by people who clearly don’t care about your business is a done deal! It wasn’t just to us but another group of people who spent $50. We won’t be back! Over priced …..
Great service, coffee, and seating. Overall very well presented establishment. Fully recommend for anyone who would like to enjoy a great time at a friendly local cafe!
Their coffee blends and espresso is high on acidic notes... I prefer fuller bodied beans:I did change the rating from 2 stars to 3, due to the astetics of the place is gorgeous and the owner is right that the No Coffee No Talkie is fuller bodied and a great tasting coffee actually. The thing is I love, love, love an Americano. I appreciate that the brand is Egyptian? coffee, and I guess even espresso from Reza's is acidic. Warehouse 4 is very similar to Reza's as far as coffee notes goes, however, even they know to do a fuller bodied espresso. An acidic espresso beverage... come-on
