I've been coming since high school, about 40 years and they still do it right. the waitress and bartender were great. filet mignon is excellent, cash only so bring cash.
Great steakhouse. I'm so happy to be able to dive into this fantastic steakhouse. the best steak in Mid-USA. I had a 20oz bone-in crucible. Usually 20oz is much more than I can eat but the crispy caramelized outer layer with moist and juicy, delicate inner layer of medium-sized rare roar ribeye disappeared from the plate in my likes so fast that I wanted more. I hope I will have a chance to re-enter the pine club when in dayton, ohio.
If they are in dayton and want a unique experience that will take a trip back to the early 50s, the pine club fits the bill. there is a history of the place on the tables, and it has not changed much since the opening. in first line, this place is cash money, check or they 'll mail a bill (seriously.) additionally do not take any reservations, so they will get there early or be ready to sit on their plentiful bar. the personal is very friendly and accommodating. when we had set ourselves, our server (julie) was very attentive and answered all the questions we had. between surfing and the lawn/bone in ribeye there was no single complaining at the table. if they want a familiar experience, they go to longhorn. if they are looking for something that is only found in dayton, they give the pine club a shot.
Everything about this place is wonderfully comforting the pictures on the paneled walls, the cocktails, the food, the staff.
