We liked the fries... read more Nice ambience But for us it's more appearance than reality. The amuse gueule was a great idea. The fondue chinoise was okay in terms of meat. We liked the fries that were served with it. Deep fried until golden and crispy. The sauces, on the other hand, seemed unimaginative and weren't tasty. There were only 3, garlic, a slightly spicy version and an herb.

I enjoyed the rustic atmosphere of tavern, we felt as if we were transported from the belvedere hotel in a secluded small restaurant high up into the mountains well! my expectations have been met and I can recommend the fondue tavern romeo julia in the grandhotel belvedere in davos. The portions are small (get the big one if you don't want to turn your main dish into a starter , three strips of dried meat claim to transform an ordinary Carbonara into Grisonne pasta and, despite assurances to the contrary, they don't even know what the Postcard is (the Swiss Post payment card while you are in Switzerland!!! and you find yourself having to pay in cash.
