Large house made ice and wonderful, creative flavors. I couldn't be happier to get her close to me. The service is always friendly. You'll let you taste before you commit. The store is super sweet. Try it. We need more local companies like these.

I visited the restaurant twice in two weeks, and the newer flavors I tried were disappointing. They need to check their ice for quality assurance.

The good scoop has delicious ice cream and friendly people who work there! My favorite is Cookie Monster. You even have it on my local market that is great to get it more regularly!

I absolutely love their peach ice cream! It's a fantastic place to stop between Sacramento and the Bay Area.

Meh. I was really expecting more from this place based on all of the raving reviews, but I truly think that this is a big fish small pond situation. The ice cream was ok. We got birthday cake, strawberry, and peach. The strawberry and peach flavors were actually pretty good but the birthday cake was icy and the chocolate chips were hard and wax like. Yuck. We threw it in the trash almost instantly. Unfortunately the service is really where things fell apart. The teenage guy working on Sunday afternoon had such a bad attitude that it probably made the ice cream taste worse than it actually did. He seemed like it was the absolute last place he wanted to be and he wasn 't even trying to hide it. It was the first time we have taken our daughter to an ice cream shop and we were really hoping for a fun experience from a small local business but this was not what we had hoped for. Hopefully the owners can get some better employees that can at least fake a decent attitude.
